Illuminations event spotlights Sheffield talent

Digital Entrepreneurs first anniversary event Illuminations celebrated programme’s progress with expert business presentations, client networking and a Chinese pole act straight from the circus!

The day began with a networking session at Sheffield’s Electric Works, where programme members including artists Martin Bedford, Kay Aitch and Andrew Hunt presented their work. Guest speakers including Darren Bristow, Creative Director of ‘Quba Media’, Richard Mills , Director of ‘Trade Sheffield’, as well as Digital Entrepreneurs’ Fiona Wilson, CEO of ‘Emmersons’ Information Management were there to provide insight.

The evening was spent at Sheffield’s Stardust Bar, where the stage was set for a variety of performances, including Emily Rose Greenwood’s Chinese Polecat act, opera, classics and show tunes from repertoire group ‘Music a La Carte’ and ‘Madame Zucchini’, who presented her unique cabaret. Compere Duncan Miller presented music from folk rock band ‘The Cuckoo Clocks’ to end the night in style!
